Removing 350z interior door panel...

Post by z33_boy » Wed Sep 22, 2010 7:14 pm

After the break-in left bits of my passenger window everywhere (including under the bonnet!) Im facing the task of removing the post window-fix shards that have dislodged themselves and annoyingly rattle every time a passenger enthusiastically closes the door (as you do when faced with your first ride shotgun in a Z)...

After trying to take the dash out of my last skyline I've found that, no matter how careful you are, if there's a clip or screw you didn't know about it can lead to frustrated 'motivation yanks' on said panel causing potentially damaging effects.

Hence the forum stab, anybody out there have a clue how to pull that decent sized plastic door card out of a 350z without buggering anything?

You'll need to register across the pond to see the pdf, here's the link:

hey,

are you referring to the taking off the passenger door's whole plastic panel or the panel after the plastic door panel to get to the inside where the window glass is?

It's quite easy to remove once you know what to do.

I used these two guides (very easy to follow, no need to register):

If you go to trade me there is guy who can sell you disc with repair Manuel, I have one and it's got everything on it. If my memory is correct was only about $6.00. This will help you now and anything for the future.
