Can someone explain how this event is run? Would you welcome a non-Z?

The only thing you need to bring is a sense of fun - a Z is optional - some club members Z's haven't turned a wheel in a decade!

Basically, I'll give each car a sheet of instructions, will include which roads to follow, and you'll have clues to answer along the way, and things to find. Lots of fun!!! You need a navigator, who can read instructions. :P 8)

Yip, no problem if you're currently Z-less or someones is receiving tlc.

Think you lot might enjoy the roads I've picked for the trial.  Some nice twisties, and flowing roads. Some roads I haven't been down in years, was gooood to revisit them. Anyway, you'll just have to wait and see til Sunday. 8)

Anyone wishing to fuel up on 98 octane, there is a Mobil petrol station as you come off the motorway at Oteha Valley Road, turn right.

Don't forget your gold coins for St John. 8)

Guess we will see on the day. If it blows through tomorrow, we will be lucky.

Well done for getting so many of the questions right, and that's without a full sized navigator. :P 8) 8)

Placings:
1st - Nustad
2nd equal - Mr & Mrs Limezed
& Tony Edmeades & Hammage.

Thank you for coming along today, especially those having trekked across town to join in. :D I enjoyed hiding around corners watching you all pass by, think I was only spotted twice. :P 8) Well done to you all! :D Especially for some of the more obscure questions, lol, that bus stop & website!!!

Forgot to rattle people's (non-rallyers) wallets at the restaurant for gold coins for St John. Was too busy marking papers.

We did pretty well weather wise, hid under that awning for a second for that quick shower, then all good the rest of the event. 8) Hope we get same of better weather for the Zealong trial next month. 8)

Was it a roadster sort of day Bernie? A few showers flicked through here, but not too bad.

More of a grey day, yes we had our latest addition with us. Jeanette and I are now very proud parents of a blue 350z convertible. And yes we kept the roof up. Certainly a much more comfortable cruiser than the 260Z. So now shouldn't have to many problems filling the new garage.

Pretty cool being able to savour both cars. The rawness of the 260 and then the refinement of the 350. Cars although made in the same stables are 30 years apart, Might be a good comparison to do for club mag.

By the way its Jeanette's car, that's just in case anyone asks.
