It's back

CannonBall Run 11 promises to be bigger and better than the last one

the Auckland Motorsport Team havn't taken a break we just can't the ideas are piling up for the next big one so here it is.

500 odd K's (exact route to be planned in the coming months)

From Auckland North and Back

Limited to 250 cars

$120 per car (includes passengers)

Absolutely brilliant seeing everyone off this morning. 3 Zeds all came up from the Waikato for this. Hilarious costumes by the dozen, due to the theme, Movies (or something like that). All sorts of cars, you name it, it was probably there. Huge variety of ages. Yes I did take photos, just not downloaded yet.

Will be very keen, all things permitting to do the summer Cannonball, hoping there is a 2012. Maybe even the Snowball.

Looking forward to hearing all the hightlights Terminator.

Well 175 Cars Turned up

The costumes were amazing Shrek and Fiona took best costume
and Pricilla queen of the Cannonball run took best theme.

Hotrods , Ferrari, Astin Martin, Gt40, you name it we had it.

Everyone had a great day, the crew did an amazing job.

Look for write ups in every magazine we can get them into.

The overall winner will be announced in 2 weeks time when we've gone through all the photo's.

Dare we ask what the story was with the burned out car??? Hopefully that just one that was nothing to do with the Cannonball.

Well its an MR2 and by the looks of the photo tag it says it is " FLYEN " which was Ketzals MR2 from the NZPC movie series.

Yes that is the High Octane Flyen.

Burst Fuel Line dropped a heap of fuel on the exhaust and woomf

burnt hot and fast.

Yes it was part of the run I had actually invited him to bring it cause it was such an iconic car.

poor owner. NO INSURANCE
