Mike Gilmour - City Nissan Takapuna is hosting an evening meal for guests staying overnight at Hampton Downs.
Guests include Steve Millen & his wife.
Guest Speaker.
John Reynold's from Nissan NZ Ltd who is a "Master Instructor" (incidentally only a very small number of Nissan trainers have qualified for this prestigious award worldwide) will be giving an incite to Nissan GTR & Z.
John has met with Kazutoshi Mizuno - Nissan Chief engineer for R35 GTR.
John spent 3 weeks in Japan - intensive training on R35 GTR prior to the vehicle release in NZ.
He has a lot of unique information/ video about this car that he would like to share - Plus extensive knowledge of the Z cars & is very passionate about these vehicles as well.
Part of the approx 1 hour presentation will be a video with Mizuno-san talking about the GTR that has never been shown before.
John's background as a engine tuner based in London in 70's saw him specialise in 240Z fitting the side draft carburetor conversions for Nissan UK before returning to to NZ in early 80's.
