Welcome to the Kiwi Z forum. Nice to see you've made it across from zclub.net, I'm presuming. 8) 8)

To post up pics, upload your pics to somewhere like www.photobucket.com, then cut & paste the "IMG" code (that's the bottom code of the drop down) into the forum here.

Hi Mr ex.Welcome to NZ down under.Wow ,seven zeds. You dooo have the Z bug. We know something about the Samuri cars down here, and especially Big Sam. You are very fortunate to own one of these sought after 240s.The s30s are very thin on the ground down here now ,with rust dealing to a great number, resulting in those that are left tending to remain with that owner for some time, and prices for good examples tending to go up. I also have a 1972 which was given a resto back in 1999 -2000.
How was Oz? while you were down here you should have made yourself known to us Zedophiles, and had a visit .you would have been most welcome.
. Oh ~ Has all the snow melted yet? The pic thing-I dont have a clue either .I have my 42 year old son help.

Hi, Aus was great 30 degrees but too hot for me. We did come over to the South Island on the 1st Jan at night & leave early on the 6th the roads were very quiet, I could get use to that. 8)

Yes,the Sth Island has some nice roads for Zedding and very few cops.We were down there last Autumn-nearly winter, for three weeks driving tour.Loved it but very cold for a North Island couple, and we didnt take the 240  The worst time was the car ferry between Nth and STH Islands.Quite a large ship also carring a roll on -off train, but a huge sea.Lots of people very sick. About a three hour trip. We saw more traffic police in half an hour in Wellington than three weeks in the Sth Island. What area did you visit?

Hi, we stayed at friends at Whitecliffs near Darfield & visited friends in Rangiora & Methven. Our friend at Methven is "seeing" a "Deer farmer" or we thought he was who took us to the top of Mt Hutt, that was awsome, it was only when I got on the internet back in Aus that I learnt that it was Donald Greig a top stag hunter & mountain guide.

If this link works out it is my Samuri in 3rd gear up a windy local hill.

WOW! That road is very like a lot around the back country in the North Island. Love the exaust note, and I thought a little induction noise from the triples, or was I imagining it? A little surprised to see other traffic on such a narrow and isolated road .Thanks for that ,so cool. Cant mistake a well running L6. Could you post pics of your Sam standing still? That would be wonderful.
Cheers.

The one & only time I tried photo bucket it failed to work.

You can see the car on zclub.net in my gallery or on my signature or all the youtube clips that Jnr has put on at places like Z008/Z009 or zedfest, that will have to do for now untill I can sort something out.

And yes it is induction roar from the weber 40's without filters on.
