180 LSD swap

I bought a Nismo r180 long nose LSD a while ago and am just getting around to putting it in. But I can't get the ruddy axles out. Any clues on why they don't just pop out? I expected them to be retained by a snap ring and once they started to move they'd pop right out. I can get them to move about 20mm but still not the whole way out. Possibly the clip is now mangled inside the centre?

I'm also after some stub axles from a 240z if anyone has some they dont need? I'm hoping the stock stub axles have the same spline count as the LSD which is from an S15. But since I cant get the ones out of the LSD I can't check.

I can't use my current stub axles because they've been modified to suit a VLSD.

Will probably be the circlip. Was the diff originally for a non turbo S15? The turbo S15s have odd axles from memory as the factory LSDs are a torsen style one.

I'd guess it's a turbo one given the bogans I bought it off. Hmmm, I best get those axles out to be sure.
