National Race Licence...

Post by Grunzter » Sun Apr 15, 2012 9:05 pm

To the current club racers out there,
What is the process for obtaining a national race licence now?
Mine has expired some years ago.

I have a new vehicle log book and my roll cage homologation papers, but thats about it.

I remember in the past we had to sit a test which was basically the national sporting code and flags, plus a medical declaration and being a member of MANZ, which is now Motorsport NZ.

Any advice appreciated.
Cheers Grant

Grant your summary is about right, answer the questions, take a colour blindness test, fill in a medical declaration.

There are several lists of questions provided but no answers so you will need to read the book to get the answers.

Once you have schooled up approach a MSNZ examiner with your forms filled in, get his approval after the tests and send in form and payment.

I think you need to resit after 2 years of non renewal.
