Hey,
Im new to this forum and about 6 months from purchasing my datsun 280zx project car.
Im trying to fully plan out the car before hand and have come to the body.
I am trying to track down a nice 280zx body kit and fender flares.
All i can find is msa body kitsand i dont like their stuff. as far as fender flares go i cant find anything...
Can anyone point me in the right direction for some good kits or do i have to go custom.
If so is there anybody to recomend someone?
either way i appreciate any assistance i can get.

Welcome to the forum. Come along to a meet and see some of the Zeds and chat to the owners, that might help too. Also maybe have a chat to Dave @ Z Parts. 276-7376

Hi Aci,
BODY KITS:
1. For body kits you could try Arizona Z Car (Dave Epstein), that is where I got mine from many years ago. He has sold his moulds but he may be able to let you know if they are being made again?

2. An alternative is MJP Eastern Auto from the UK, probably your best bet. (IMSA kit is GBP 1,295.00, worth more than the car)… but worth it!!!!

3. The link below is worth a try, but don’t know your chances with getting a response?...

4. BONNETS:
Best bet here is “proudear’ from Japan, I have their carbon bonnet and its 100% fantastic!
Freight to NZ is more than the cost of the bonnet though.

5. WINGS:
I have a genuine ZXR wing from Nissan Motorsports USA, but these are no all gone, so if you want the period look you may find a similar copy in NZ as some of the early Japanese imports had them on…
AIR DAMS:
6. Here Z Parts in Manukau can get you the same front air dam as in DJZ’s car.
This is also what I have, but mine is going through a major change to make it more suitable for race purposes and looks…
7. Yahoo Auctions Japan always has a few on offer, see attached pics of JDM1 & JDM 2, the NZ offering is a ‘Similar’ copy of the JDM2 style. Use Ooparts or go direct to help buy and import it…

8. Otherwise the links above all have air dams as well…
Pictures attached are of my car and the Japanese air dam offerings.
Cheers Grant.
