What an absolute blast. haven't enjoyed anything as much as this event. Couldn't have asked for better weather. My thanks to the other participants for a great spirited drive. Was great to meet our Wellington member. I would recommend the Forgotten Highway to anybody that enjoys driving. Wasn't very busy and absolutely amazing roads. I didn't know they could put som may hairpins on to one road. There was about 10kms of gravel, but this can be driven slowly to avoid paint chipping.

Agreed. It was EPIC.The road is like NZ's Stelvio Pass.
The scenery was amazing, well the brief glimpses I caught of it were !
The organisation was seemless, great company, an awesome time was had by all.
Thanks for organising that Bernie

That was amazing guys, an awesome time with you all.

For anyone thinking about this road I guarantee you won't be disappointed, many tight hairpins with good visibility around the corners.

Anyone letting the small gravel section be an excuse to scare you off, take a look at the pictures of my grey silvia and how low it is. I made it through unscathed so have at it. :)

The most reliable way for me to not miss these things is to advise the wife...
