No life is not a spectator sport. My Z decrees otherwise and it's rather low to the ground also. Happy to help on the day.minimad wrote:It sounds like you are worried about the Minis beating you?
I think that you have three options,
1/ get the 350 dirty.
2/ use another car.
3/ give us a hand on the day.
Remember that life is not a spectator sport, get off the couch and give it a go!!!
I'm sure heaps of the others will give it a go.
Just a quick note to those of you that are attending the Mini gymkana on Sunday, just found out there is a $10 entry fee for racers, spectators are free and a bbq is being provided free of charge.
Don't forget to bring your own refreshments and sun tan lotion etc.

Have to pull out sorry the UTE will have to wait until our gymkhana
Many thanks to the Miniclub for inviting us along to their very cool grass gymkana.
Great to see Stumpy, Loadedtoad and 240z doing their bit for Zed performance & the ZClub. So have you guys managed to pick all the grass and dirt off and in your Zeds yet?! Oh, well done on your 2nd, 3rd & 1st placing respectively.
One paddock, 2 circuits running. Heaps of entertainment watching everyone doing their circuits, with the odd bit of fluffing, squashed cones not to mention bits of dry cow pats flying in all directions. Eeek the odd breakage, nothing that couldn't be driven home though. Phew.
Who knew a Zed could go so quickly in reverse going around corners.
Eat your heart out Christian Dior, Givenchy, Hugo Boss ain't go anything on "cow pat surprise".
All in all some very impressive car control from both the Zeds and the Mini's.
Hope to see you all at our ZClub gymkana, should be an absolute blast, even if you're spectating!!!
ps. Will post picys later.

No problems, best view of the track at the timing umbrella.minimad wrote:Thanks also to Bronzee for helping with the timing on the day.
Practice up guys & girls, Andrew is rather good at these gymkana's. Some ZClub people have to give him a run for his money, hehe, whether you be in your Zed or another vehicle.minimad wrote:I think Andrew Carter from Taupo might be in Auckland that day!!!!!!!!!!
Keith Hargraves who came second today, with times very close to Andrews will not be available for the next grasskhana, but a father and son combo who were busy today might be coming to the Z event and they could both push Andrew for the top spot!!!!!
Be worried, be very worried!!!!!!!!!!!!
