I usually use about 1/2 a tank.

Be aware though that if you overfill your tank you could end up losing fuel through the fuel cap if it seals anything like mine! My earlier Z with a non baffled tank worked well from about 2/3 of a tank down to just under half when it used to have fuel pickup issues around some corners. There is a BP 98 station just a couple of kms down the road so not far to go if you start to run low.

They also used to have a drum or two of avgas out the back that is hand pumped if you want it.

Sorry but I won't be there anymore owing to needing to attend my father-in-laws funeral on Saturday. I am just about to ring Ascot and cancel my booking so if anyone needs a unit you had better be in quick. (And in case anyone is confused, I did have 2 units booked but one has already gone to Allan Lewis).

Really sorry to be missing the event and I hope it goes well for everyone.

That's such a pity. :( Was going to bring your Best Competitor trophy down too.

PLEASE ABSOLUTELY NO MORE LATE LUNCH REQUESTS!!! LUNCH NUMBERS HAVE BEEN FINALISED. Any extra spectators that we've not already accounted for, will need to bring along their own lunch.

That's a fantastic shot Wittsend!!!!!!!!!! Not that often you see that many Z in a shot on their line. :D

Many thanks to everyone for coming along, whether to go on the track, to spectate, or organising or helping on the day, all those elements make a day, and not to be forgotten all the cars. People arriving from far and wide to enjoy the weekend. Lots making the trek as a day trip too!

Also a huge thanks goes to our event sponsors for the fantastic prizes:

Alert Motorsport
Race Brakes
VTNZ
Buildlink
Formula E
Alsco

The Bay of Plenty Child Cancer Co-Ordinator asked me to pass along a thank you to everyone, the gleaming smiles on the faces of the kids as they took their helmets off said it all!!! They obviously thoroughly enjoyed the rides in the race cars.
