Door Hinge Kits x Malta

Post by annszcar » Mon Jul 03, 2017 10:33 am

Can anyone here in NZ that has used this 240z door hinge bushing kit tell me if the components of this kit are of a high enough quality to ensure wear longivity? These are the ones sold on Ebay, made in Malta. Thanks

I got mine from Nissan. It's a generic hinge pin kit which consists of two brass bushes per hinge and a pin. Pin needs to cut to lengh as they were too long.

From memory the kit is part number HK1 for a Navara.

I did my drivers one when I restored my car. I had a pin made up and a couple of brass bushes made. I went oversize and drilled out the original hinges because they wear as well as the pins. No problem since. That was over 8 years ago, if my memory serves me correct they didn't have brass bushes from factory but I could be wrong.

Correct, original bushes were steel IIRC.

Nissan Part Numbers

80410-01G00 bush
80406-V5002 pin (needs to be trimmed)

Parts work fine, as always a bit of lube is what saves the wear.
