240Z 260Z parts

Post by old_datto_fan » Sun Feb 14, 2010 11:43 pm

Time for another tidy up in the spares parts container so have the following for sale - will be listed on TradeMe if not sold within a week.

1 Front Airdam - see picture below. Made of nice thick fibreglass so will mount nice and firmly. Suit a race car. $250

2 Air box to suit triple sidedraught carbs or throttle bodies. $300

3 Brake booster with 1" Nissan Patrol master cylinder - just checked over by Auto Brake and Clutch in Wellington $145

4 Spring spacers - polyurethane - (ramped coil spring isolator set) great for when your springs are not captured. Set for 4 springs. 1 new set at $65, 1 used (but as new) set at $45

5 Original 240Z twin carbs (round top) on manifold and with air cleaner and filter $450

6 GM transmission Mount to work with a Ron Tyler design diff mount (Google 240Z Ron Tyler Diff if you don't know what one of these is). 1 new at $40, 1 new but modified as per mounting instructions $25

And I still have a rolling 240Z shell suit a race car that is too good to cut up although I have someone after the rear guards and may yet cut it up to remove them.

Plus my 240Z restoration project is still for sale at the right price. Everything is there, body needs small amount of work to finish and the rest is basically cleaning, painting and re-assembly.

PM me for further details on any of the above.

Are you coming up to Taupo? If so would you be able to bring the air dam with you?

Heya Mr OD Fan, dimensions and construction of the air box? Just cut holes and fit? What mods needed? Diameter of the inlet? Just looks a little small and shallow?

Air dam is currently in Auckland at another club member's place. I can hopefully get to Taupo but if you are keen then probably easier for you to see it in Auckland.

Air box just needs the holes cut - it is the same as the one Ricky has on his race car. I will go and get some measurements later today as it is in my Lockup.

And if anyone is interested I also have 6 Dunlop Formula R 225/50 R16 92V tyres for sale. About a third worn but haven't been used for about 4 years so are now a bit hard - apparently there is some stuff the Kart guys use to make them nice and sticky again. $30 each.

Andy - if you want to check out that intake box thing, I have the same here, I will pop it in the car and call in on the way home so you can see what it is like. Wednesday is good for me. It is bigger than it looks in the pics attached. I plan to use mine so if you like it you will have to purchase this one form Mike ;)

Yes, spacers are designed for original Z springs.

I can bring them and the air box to Taupo if you are interested.

The 240 shell is tempting, You're just in the wrong island and shipping is decidedly un-tempting.

Good luck with the sales.

It's still a roller so would be pretty easy to transport - price is very attractive so PM me a stupid offer and I may be tempted. Can send heaps of photos too.

I'll put my hand up for the airbox as well. Guess I'm at the bottom of the list however.

Cheers
