Domain Hill Climb
Domain Hill Climb
EVENT CANCELLED
This from HRC --->
Regrettably the Historic Racing Club Inc have had to cancel the hill climb. The council hit us with an extra $5000 fee and this made the Hill Climb unworkable financially. For the past 15 years the council have provided the venue free as the event is free to spectators. User pays has caught up with the hillclimb and with the increasing costs relating to safety the hillclimb has become uneconomic to run. All entries will be refunded in full. Thanks to all the competitors who entered and supported the event over the years. We still have a booking for next year and will investigate new options. Our next hillclimb will be at Hampton Downs on the 29/8/10 and we have the expenses well under control
Regards

[s]Below from the Historic Racing Club, would be good to see an entry or two from the club race fraternity.
2010 OUTSOURCE IT DOMAIN HILLCLIMB
Yes it’s now time to start preparing your Hillclimb entryfor the HRC Outsource IT Domain Hillclimb on the 30 of May 2010. The more observant of you will have noticed the date for this premier event has been moved to the last Sunday in May.
This is to overcome conflicts with other events in April and early May, it is hoped the new date will be more suitable to the majority of competitors. This event is open to all cars 15 years and over and cars less than 15 years old by special invitation. All types of cars are welcome to enter and there are awards for all class winners. This event is always popular because of the wide range of vehicles that enter.
The HRC will also run a second Hillclimb at Hampton Downs on the 29 August 2010 starting what will become an annual Hillclimb Series. The Hill Climb at Hampton Downs will use part of the track but in a reverse direction.
Entries for the Outsource IT Domain event are on the website

Haven't heard of any Zeds racing, but we can always hope. Would be great to see Ricky blasting up there. Would be a crowd pleaser
with the bellowing exaust from a modified straight six.So cool. They have some interesting entrys every year.
