27 secs flat, not bad considering a 80kg passenger on board. 1/2 way down the field.......again

That's pretty good though, it's not like anyone was really going to get too near that crazy little university thing. 21 somethings. 8)

A Zed could win the GT class with the right engine and suspension, there are a few members cars are capable, we should make it a project next year.

That would be cool. Quite a few of the Zed people go along to watch anyway. I wonder if we'd be allowed a tent like some of the other clubs?

Anyway, food for thought for next year. :D :D 8) 8)

My camera really isn't up to the job of taking pics of vehicles moving fast, but got one shot of Andy's Zed in action about half way up the circuit.

This is the Auckland University Engineering Dept entry for the 2nd year running, doing very quick figures at about 21 secs up on a slightly damp track. Please note the very high tech hand brake, know to most as a cricket bat.

The sand you see to the left of Andy's car is unfortunately one of the previous vehicles on that run that didn't make it to the top under it's own steam. :(
