Another write up on the Zeds. Seem to see more of these all the time. The S30 is really becoming quite desirable and valuable.

Thats cool.
Interesting that some journalists see it as an E Type knockoff.
To me it was not all that like an E Type.
You can see lots of influences in there-C2 Corvette,Porsche 911, etc, but I reckon its most like a scaled down Ferrari 275 GTB

I agree I think it looks more like the Ferrari. I guess that is why you could buy kits to make into GTO look alike. I don't think it looks like an E type at all. I does have a mix of cars, headlights are definitely E type. Cut of rear-end definitely Ferrari.

Another little update from the interweb

https://i.stuff.co.nz/motoring/12425098 ... -next-year

reproduced from that article
In other Nissan sports car news, the forthcoming Z redux will indeed get a 3.0-liter Biturbo V6, allegedly the VR30DDTT found in the current not-for-NZ Skyline and the Infiniti Q50 Red Sport. It will make 298kW/475Nm, as previously rumored, and be mated to a six-speed manual.
An automatic version is on the way too, along with an entry-level 224kW/400Nm model.

That's really interesting. even the lower kW engine has reasonable numbers, this may be to match the Toyota Supra engine options.
