I really don't like to pile on the mountain of suspicion and rumors for new cars. But a reasonably interesting article from cnet with the Z designer.

Yes, will be interesting to see if it materialises.
As much as we would love to see it happen, these types of cars sell in small numbers,
making it hard to make $'s out of.Given that Nissan's financial position isn't too flash right now,
will nostalgia/tradition over-rule the balance sheet ? Up to Renault I guess.
Even Toyota, a much larger and more financially sound company than Nissan, was only prepared to do the
Celica in conjunction with BMW to spread the cost
Should we all be buying 370's in case it turns out to be the last ?

Yes and now with the Covid interruption, most manufacturers are all predicting a drop in profits if not loses. Its all a bit sad in regards to the sports car front. Look at the 70's 80's you could buy most cars in a sports version, now the sports editions are basically "the Black addition" or a set of fancy decals.
Which leads us to saving some of the iconic cars of that era, These cars of ours will be highly collectable and very valuable. If you have 50K to spare buy a NISMO 370z tuck it away your kids will love you for it.

Whoops, slip of the keyboard !
I was referring to the new Toyota SUPRA - not Celica.

Got another article on the next-gen Z. Really don't know what to think. I guess its a bit of wait and see.

Really nice looking renderings, I think it is much nicer looking than the Supra, or is it that I am biased. I just love the S30 shape.

So many rumours that nobody really has a clue.
I read a report yesterday that claimed that initially it will be a facelifted 370 fitted with the Infinity 3L turbo , with a whole new design 2024.
Who knows.
