Any info on this car, looks like the conversion has some value, the body would cost more to fix than importing a shell from USA.

Went for $13,400. Lot more than I expected, my cheeky $2,500 bid was miles off the mark!

Still probably on the money if the drive-train and interior are ok. May have been a $70,000 car if un-marked.

Still, a lot if you compare the cars been on trademe lately. If you had a spare body would be okay, Good luck getting parts. It would have been de-registered as well if it went through auction. Certifying can be a real issue if it has older repairs, which it will. This is not uncommon with this sort of auction, I'm not sure why.
