Doing the conversion in the next month. It will bolt up to the bell housing but the internals need a very small mod for the bearing. Drive shaft "should" be the same. I know someone that has done the swap and it was pretty much a bolt in fit all the way. The siliva gbox needs a few more mo...

Try Tony Marsh in East Tamaki @ Marsh Motorsport (has quite a lot of Datsun experience ) or Lyn Rogers in Howick Auckland . Two of the best builders . I had mine freshened up @ Lyn Rogers. Head mods, new pistons, rods fitted and other work done - around 45hrs work in total. That did not include long...

I had no probs with my tach I just pugged and played although I was actually replacing an old Bosch style system that gave up the ghost. The big ballast resistor was already removed from my system.

Yep I have one installed super easy to do. I got mine from Motorsport Auto in California. No points to worry about and I have had no problems in the last 3-4 yrs. NUSTAD has one installed as well if I'm not mistaken.

If you want an investment in a car try a 1962 Ferrari 250GTO. Nick Mason (from Pink Floyd ) bought his for 34k? in the 70s. His family mocked him and thought what a colossal waste of money. They are not laughing now. last one sold for around $48 Million

Welcome to the forum. If you want a good one you might want to have deep pockets and patience. "Good" ones start at around $25000 and don't show up very often but sometimes waiting pays as it has for some members.

I have a similar set up as Bernjean. Toyota 4pots and vented Honda Legend rotors. I used a 1 inch m/c from a Nissan patrol. Straight bolt on and way less pedal travel.

"Quality" is such a subjective word to many. My idea of a "quality" job and others idea are sometimes like night and day. I did all the mechs myself striped the car and reassembled. Panel and paint was done by the pros. Don't think that using a mig welder on panel steel is a &quo...

60K for a top quality resto? These days that would be the bare minimum. I spent way more than that 10 yrs ago but I suppose my car was rough to start with. Anyway I will never sell so I'm not worried how much I have spent on it. If you plan to keep it, do it once and do it right.

Try Just Brakes in Penrose. I used them for a kit 2 years ago. It is easy to it yourself.
Stirling Brakes in Onehunga are good for service, advice and supplies as well.

Look on the bright side - values have just gone up for the S30. It could only be in the USA.
