Re: Datsun 280ZX IMSA GTU replica race car build...
Nice combo, but even so 500 might be a little optimistic, unless you have some nitrous squirters hidden somewhere. Cant see all that good stuff by the rocker cover is worth a couple of hundred horsepower on its own. Great choice with the old school drysump cant wait to see it going togethe...

Even if it not ready to race for the Zclub track day, you could still bring it to show and for us to ooh, ahh and drool over. Free passenger ride in the ZX if you do.

I saw that for sale, but could not do it. They only made a 100 supposedly and a NOS one beautiful, but ouchy. Did you really do it? If so very impressed.

Got my first set from Aust but they stopped supplying them ottomatta I think. 2nd set got via my broker direct from watanabe.
You can order all sorts of sizes and offset, but I had to run spacers to clear the AP brakes.

In my experience Not much point in going for big turbos, better to stick with the GT25 for 500hp and the GT28 for 600hp. You want your power ...

Re: insurance valuations
Classic cover/JRI insurance did not require a valuation until well in the six figures. For the camaro race car we used Mark Joblin for a valuation. Comprehensive and well priced. Insurance company accepted it without question.
