Replaced my strut rod bushes today... in the rain... Of course they were more stubborn to put back in and I spent way longer than I should have. *sigh it's done now and can move on to other bushes :P

OH and yesterday I ordered a clutch kit  manual conversion here we come!

Use an image uploading service such as Photobucket or Imgur to upload photos, then use Image tags.

Awesome! Bit of a spaghetti mess but I'm sure you'll cope haha, I love wiring stuff but am always hesitant that I've done it right.. Have you decided auto/manual yet?

Good stuff, great to see another project emerging. Make sure to post regularly as you can - even small updates give stimulation to folk like me :P I'll hopefully have some updates of my own too. That 5.7 is going to be a BEAST!

I also enquired about shipping @ Zedd Findings for my car, just the rails was $107 surface, $176 air/surface. Little bit cheaper than the full floor shipping, if you were wondering. :)

Update on this: nobody had anything an Nissan still hadn't got back to me so I ordered TWO kits K9215, Moog brand bushes off ebay.. Meaning I have a spare kit if anybody wants to buy (had to get my worth out of the shipping price). I'll begin putting my bushes in over the next couple of weeks.

Yeah I'll give them a ring tomorrow from work, seems like a gamble to use them though :? Unsure. I can get the polys for 30 bucks through them, I just kinda wondered if others have had the issue I described.

I'm only yet to purchase the tension/strut rod to chassis bushings. From what I've read using poly ones could cause the rod to break unexpectedly (and suddenly you have no steering). There isn't enough flex in the poly bush, so the rod suffers and is likely to break. I just want to play it safe :\ h...

WTB/Advice: S130 Tension Rod & Bushings

So I've already read some horror stories about using the poly bushings on these - thus my urge for rubber replacements. However, our suppliers at work no longer carry them nor do Repco or BNT, Nissan hasn't got back to me and I'm wondering if anybody else has found an NZ source? There are a couple o...
