Not sure if its any use, but.....

I get some slight surging at low speeds before the Zed warms up properly.
My seat of the pants diagnosis puts it down to the automatic choke having trouble making up its mind when its on the cusp of opening completely.

Not going to help you I'm afraid, but this is exactly why I take a picture of my speedo every time I drop my Z off anywhere for repairs.

Tidy straight black 350/370 in a line up of traffic going the opposite way through the Kawarau gorge yesterday.

Thats 4 I've seen more than once around here, almost enough to get together for coffee and a yarn if we can link up.

I can confirm on my vehicle it enables/disables the side mirror "tilt on reverse" feature
