Track Laps and Breakfast - Highlands Cromwell 15th october

I'm really looking forward to breakfast this weekend as I've booked in here this Sunday - http://www.highlands.co.nz/action-experiences/tracklaps-breakfast/ While its only a couple of laps it still seems really cheap for a chance to loosen the reins on the Z without having to keep looking in the rea...

Nice original 260z that has been on the bucket list for a while now. Own a couple of Mitsubishi Galant Colt GTO's (can I mention these in this forum??) of the same vintage so figure the 260z will sit alongside these nicely. Will have to get a "family" photo posted at some stage. Always ha...

Screws, facia clips, bolts - suppliers?

Any recommendations for good suppliers ? I'd like to know where I can place an order before I start tearing down the interior of my car as its a given I'm going to snap the one tiny piece of plastic that sits in plain view or strip a bold/screw, or drop a retaining clip down into the 6th dimension t...

240znz wrote:Yes, it was a sub 100 VIN and they turned it into something which tried to look like a 432 minus the guard emblems.
Added a front splitter and rear spoiler, carbon bonnet, mags. Didn't look to bad I guess.
Does having a sub 100 vin add to the value of Zds and if so why ? (my 350 is sub 100)

Garage Project on Sky

On Discovery Turbo they had a nice episode on a 240Z being dragged out of the back of a garage and put back on the road. :D

Brake as late as possible, be off the brake before you enter the corner, make sure you're apexing correctly and getting back onto the gas as soon and smoothly as possible is the limit of the advice I can give. Due to the infinite variability in all of the above points means the seat of the pants is ...

Not sure if its any use, but.....

I get some slight surging at low speeds before the Zed warms up properly.
My seat of the pants diagnosis puts it down to the automatic choke having trouble making up its mind when its on the cusp of opening completely.

Not going to help you I'm afraid, but this is exactly why I take a picture of my speedo every time I drop my Z off anywhere for repairs.
Unfortunately I think you're in a classic "he said she said" situation

Re: new owner of a 350Z

Hello everyone Just bought a 2007 350Z and loving it. It only came with one key though, anyone know where to get a second? Having the one worries me. Rick. The Nissan dealer is a good place to start for the key, once they tell you how much a replacement key will cost from them it will motivate you ...

Tidy straight black 350/370 in a line up of traffic going the opposite way through the Kawarau gorge yesterday.

Thats 4 I've seen more than once around here, almost enough to get together for coffee and a yarn if we can link up.
