Thanks Bernie,
I’m just waiting on Highlands to confirm their support before I pull the trigger on this. Once that’s done I’ll get back to you.
Cheers

Re:

My daughter sent me a photo of this white NISMO (she lives in Hamilton) - very nice. And I've noticed a black one one lately creeping around Stokes Valley where I live. However, for a 3k spend on my 2013 Z34 (which started life at the Hamilton dealer) that I bought 2 years ago for 38K it's at the s...

Re: insurance valuations

Can’t you just do an “agreed valuation”? That’s what I did with both my Zs

Bought the fuse box from here. Shipping is damn pricy, so would make sense to buy as a group.

Dammit, did you really have to post that link?? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ beginning their migration now... :(

$2,500 for a 300ZX with a stuffed fuel pump?

Trying to get an idea of if its worth it as a project car for me.

Looks a bit rough, 1991 model, 200,000km, being sold as is, no wof or rego, Auto, non turbo, standard wheels. History and other details unknown.

Datsun ‘Z’ Club

Hi,
It may be a dumb question but....

Is the Z Club on this forum the official one registered with Motorsport NZ here? http://www.motorsport.org.nz/member-clubs/

I'm looking to join a sanctioned club and do a few laps

Hiya yourself.

And thanks for the photo and reminder to follow up with a report.

I’d do it again but I would be far more strategic about which batch I went with and where in the pack I sat on the lead out to the track.
I’m sure the pace set by the Highlands pace car was sprightly but without wanting to name and shame I ended up behind a young fella taking his Nan around the track in the family wagon, so felt I couldn’t press him too hard. Having said that I was still able to button off enough so that I could play “catchupâ€￾ which did get the needle off the dial a couple of times 😈

Skylineobsession, I’m going to make it a semi regular event so we will have to share a breakfast table at some stage and moan about those old slow muscle cars 😉
Cheers
