Welcome to the club. Your cars are a credit to you. It'll be interesting to see how the 280Z finishes up. Cheers, TC

My son, Alex, came down from Nelson for Easter Weekend and we went up to the Summit Road for a video shoot. Summit Road is the Mulholland Drive of the South Pacific. I'm not so quick but the primary issues were 1) Cyclists. 2) The need to keep left at all times. 3) Dickheads failing to keep left mos...

I met with the dealer, Darryn, and he is a good guy who was willing to spend time to talk about the car. It's had a lot of interest shown. The write up says it has 93,000 original miles. I'm going to have a look at it late this afternoon. The new buyer will have to fork out purchase price then there will possibly be mechanical work needed if maintenence has been deferred. I'm thinking suspension bushes, clutch, main bearings and piston...

Re Customs: They charged me $135 for my hubcaps and when I opened the package there was bird poo with seeds on them, dried mud and also two dead spiders. I sent Customs a politely worded yet mildly sarcastic :) "well done". Stuff me, ten days later they refunded my money. I WIN for a change!

Christchurch: Twin Rivers Classic Car Parade 25th March 2012

As long as it isn't pouring with rain I'll be going to this. Does anyone want to meet up?

Hope he hasn't messed with it. :( Maybe he will sell at some stage on TM.

Hi, not yet. I'm just doing low cost things I can do myself like rebuilding/painting the horns etc. Just waiting
for some cash to come in somehow.

Have you heard the one about the guy whose ship came in but he was waiting at the airport :D

I went to the email list of staff and picked out Aaron and he has been very good, offering technical advice as well as overall support. They ship using UPS and that can be quite expensive but stuff takes, as stated, about 4 to 6 days. If you can't see the part you need on their website just ask and ...
