Hi Tony, We have been getting sand blasting grit from our local sandblaster - he is quite happy for us to collect the stuff off his floor (used once and he doesn't charge us) and it works really well for suspension parts etc in a smaller sandblasting cabinet. Maybe you could talk to a local sandblas...

Try http://www.zcarparts.com/ and do a search for K&N.

Between US$40 and $50 - I would expect freight to be no more than US$20 and it would only take 4 or 5 days to get here.

I've been buying suspension parts from them and the landed price has been on average about half of what Nissan want here.

Problems solved!

Repco can supply longer wheel studs and also had some lock nuts with an internal fitting that gets the locking nut far enough out to get a socket on it.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for that, I will try to find some. The hole is only 25mm in diameter so there isn't much room to play with.

Z Wheel Studs

I have just gone to fit my 16" Performance Superlites to my Fairlady to find that the front studs are too short and not enough of the wheel nut is on the stud. The rear wheel studs are 25mm long and are just OK but the fronts are only 20mm and I am not happy that the nut is threaded on enough. ...

Hey Mike,

I just realised that I have got a huge collection of digital photos that we took as we disassembled my 240Z - let me know if you want a CD with them on - same applies to anyone else for that matter.

S30 Parts Catalogue

For those of you who wondered why a couple of us were so stupid as to pay around the $200 mark for an S30 Parts Catalogue - an early one just sold on Ebay in Australia for $560 (and that's kangaroo dollars not kiwi ones)!

And no, mines not for sale just yet.
