So to update: In the end I decided on a full twin system in 2.25" both sides, twin resonators and mufflers with a balance pipe at the rear just before the mufflers. What a sound! music to my ears!! I think if JB & I were to roll side by side you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference (car...

The thing that gets me is that you pay GST on the full amount for the shipping, so in effect you are paying our Govt here in NZ a tax for a service that is being provided in another country(s) & in international waters (or over them at least) - not ideal but I guess very hard to make laws etc to...

This one has an LSD in there so should make for slightly better fun than single wheel spinning on every other corner in the wet like the current one  I've put in a little effort to try and help things along this time: Second hand Z32 after market exh manifold extensively modified to fit in the ...

Another VG30DE comes back to life

I'm updating the work hack, it's a long long story but the short version is: I started out with this: http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x296/mungyz/D22%20project/001800x600_zps187e8bcb.jpg Removed the mooring block referred to as an engine: http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x296/mungyz/D22%20proje...

Does anyone know if the NZ new red slick top turbo manual two seater Z31 that used to belong to Carl Foreman was ever found after it was stolen? (was stolen from the guy who purchased it off Carl I believe) I thought it was really odd that such a relatively uncommon car in NZ was stolen, never heard...

Has anyone contacted Ian with the silver 370z loaded up with Stillen gear? he would be keen I would think :)

Jim did have a 370Z convertible but I'm not keen to ask, Jim has helped us out a lot over the years & the return favours need to be brought back in to the balance for now :)

Should I buy a 2+2 Z32 from Trademe and chop the roof off it?
Easy enough to do and I could make it look good enough for the job, would be unique

Hi Dave A lot of missing info but I'll try to help anyway :) If the car is a slick top (IE: no T top roof) then it has a little more value and is actually fairly rare in comparison to the all to common 2+2 auto TT. The stock flywheels are around and not all that hard to come by BUT you can actually ...

The order is already in and the deposit has been made on the buy from Z1 HOWEVER if you are keen on the new box as Buster suggested we can sneak it in on the same order. You would need to be able to pay immediately (Monday that the latest) and you're going to need about $3k, this saves you about $50...

Yeah wifey isn't really in to track stuff but I told her she had to get used to RWD instead of FWD as one day if by accident the back end steps out she might have a better chance of recovery rather than disaster. She seemed to be doing OK and had a smile on her face so all was well :D As for the car...

:D As seems to be a tradition for freshly saved Z32s wifey took her New Z32 down to Taupo today and gave it a little work out on the big track :) The only thing that went wrong was a sticker fell off one of the wheels after the wheel got a bit warm from the brakes  So she passed that test and t...

IMMY SIT DOWN BEFORE READING THIS A 2002 350Z sold for $4600 on Trademe just this week with damage that would have taken very little to repair, Lemans in colour too! A new door complete, windscreen, drivers sill and a repair to the floor and rear qtr panel would have set it straight again (possible ...

Don't tell them but the Aus forum is well behind the ball with the harness, they are on the market already according to my source :) I would get a couple in for stock but I want to make sure others have fitted them with no drama first. So the V8 Z does low 11s aye Hmmmm more work required in the &qu...
