That is not how you shorten the shocks. You are talking about shortening the insert/shock body by making the shaft shorter. Search for sectioning struts. This involves replacing the insert with a shorter bodied unit after the strut tube has been shortened.

Great progress Martin. If you want my advice. Get your self a 260z accelerator pedal it is twice as strong as the weak 240z item. Those that have raced a 240z will know you can bend the 240z pedal all to easily.

If you get one you will see the difference.

All 240z window regulators are the same. However 260z are different. If I recall your zed has a 260z dash so my guess it might have 260z doors and therefore need 260z regulators. I could not find a set of 260z 2 seater regulators for my 73 manufactured 260z 2 seater so I modified some 260z 2+2 regul...

And with an illegal bolt in cage....well does not conform to MSNZ rules as the laterals have more than 1 bend in the vertical plan. Makes me think my fully caged (and MSNZ approved) car which is NZ New with rego on hold with no engine, geaebox, diff and no rotors/calipers is worth at least 20k as a ...

Also this is one of only 2 or 3 NZ New targa top 2 seaters so a very rare car in this spec as NZ spec has a lot less anti smog stuff vs JDM or AU spec cars.

The owner had removed the L28 and Auto box to do V8 conversion that never happened. So it was parked up. It looked like it has sat in some long...

I have not taken the head off to measure the bore size. But when I had the sump off to install the rear sump the pistons did look new from the bottom. The engine was built as NA so CR should be around 10:1 at a guess I will have to get a compression tester to confirm. I don't want to sell the Autech...
