I still have a front cross member here that has a single caster bolted to the centre this is how I moved my shell (with the rear suspension in place but a similar setup could be done via the diff mounts with little effort) this was borrowed from another forum member who's owns it. He used it when hi...

I thought I posted on here about the roller replacement but it was on another forum. This was for my old 74 260z which does use the same windows as a 240z, however a unique regulator due to difference in the 260z. As the regulators were missing from this car I used later 2+2 regulators (same as the ...

Depends on what is failing. I have repaired different issues in the 240z and 260z regulators. So what is the issue? Let me explain the issues I have faced and how I fixed them. 1. Window crank failure: This was caused by warn gears within the regulator. How this was fixed. 1: Remove the regulator fr...

I got there a bit late - I did see only Brain blue 240z. Lots of mini's and american iron. My son loved the white 53 caddie and I concur it was a lovely car in white with the big white wall tyres and those large chrome bumbers - don't make them like that any more.

You'll need a cert if you put adjustable suspension parts on.

Karl I thought the loose nut was behind the wheel. To answer the original post question Ricky is right - bin the stock 240z nut and get yourself a 280zx nut here the partnumber 43262-W1200 During re-assembly, I like to use the '82-'83 280ZX stub axle nut (Nissan part number 43262-W1200). This is a t...
