Thats cool.
Interesting that some journalists see it as an E Type knockoff.
To me it was not all that like an E Type.
You can see lots of influences in there-C2 Corvette,Porsche 911, etc, but I reckon its most like a scaled down Ferrari 275 GTB

Re: Wanted- carb set up for L28
I would suggest the NZ Weber suppliers seem expensive compared to some US suppliers.
I'm guessing when I last looked at this our currency was stronger, so do the math.

Re: Wanted- carb set up for L28
A couple of other carb options at opposite ends of the price scale.
FAJS- a Chinese Weber knock-off.Way cheaper and mixed internet reviews.
OER-A Japanese kind of Mikuni knock-off with the advantage that they are designed to take the
widely available Weber jets.Very pricey last time I looked.

Re: Wanted- carb set up for L28
I'm not sure how available the 240 style round top SUs are. Another option would be triple Webers. Not a cheap option but they are available new, and sometimes used. Solex /Mikuni triples are more traditional but have not been made for many years, so second hand is the only option there. Another opti...

Re: 240z Rendering
I am not a fan of convertibles in general, probably because ,usually they are are modified sedan
rather than purpose built, but I think that looks awesome. The bulged arches make it more dramatic.
A little bit Fiat 124sportish, but better.

My Z is currently going through the process with Paul Urquart at Coventry Certification
in Glenfield, 021990035.
Seems to take a reasonable approach.

Re: Interesting Read: Design boss Alfonso Albaisa talks about the iconic Nissan Z sports car
So many rumours that nobody really has a clue.
I read a report yesterday that claimed that initially it will be a facelifted 370 fitted with the Infinity 3L turbo , with a whole new design 2024.
Who knows.

I find that City Nissan Takapuna give me trade when I mention the Zclub discount arrangement.
I have never been sure whether one exists, but seems to work.

Re: Interesting Read: Design boss Alfonso Albaisa talks about the iconic Nissan Z sports car
Yes, will be interesting to see if it materialises. As much as we would love to see it happen, these types of cars sell in small numbers, making it hard to make $'s out of.Given that Nissan's financial position isn't too flash right now, will nostalgia/tradition over-rule the balance sheet ? Up to R...
