Here's a link for steering wheels. I would do mine if I could just get the thing off. Just drop in to your local garage and they will have it off in a jiffy. If they can't get if off with a short sharp knock in the right place and at the right angle some workshops have a tool that looks like a gear...

Thanks for the link. Cherry wood stain appears to be the key, something I hadn't thought of at all. The wheel rim appears to be a plastic casting with applied wood-grain effect. I'll post up some more pictures as I make progress on it. My dog is Fi Fi La Poodle, AKA Phoebe. My other Poodle is Polly ...

1966 Fairlady coupe 1600cc four. Right hand drive. Avonhead Road, Christchurch, 20th November 2011.
Does anyone in christchurch know about this car? I didn't have the wits about me to check the number plate as it went by so I don't know if it's NZ new etc.

That car's mine. It's posted up here: http://www.zclub.org.nz/viewtopic.php?t=2490&test=test Just going to freshen it up. Not going overboard, will just get it driving, handling and looking right. Don't want to spend big money, I'll leave that to the next owner. I'm not sure what biscuits are bu...

Wayne Croft, was he from Blenheim, his old man owned a few pubs up there? I knew him in the late 1980's early 90's if it's the same guy.

Hi Nigel, I went to see a young NZDatsun forum member yesterday who just happens to work in the parts department at Cockram Nissan. He's ordering in some stuff for me so I'll see if he can get that part for me. Aaron at MotorsportAuto in the USA couldn't supply the part. Too much confusion about wha...

Not likely.

Thanks again for all the input and also the personal messages I'v'e been getting. I'm about to order parts in from the USA. The bushes are rubber, not Urethane. The list is below, can anybody add to it or make suggestions. I've decided to just replace the rear suspension gas struts only and leave th...

Thanks djz for the link to Cobra Springs. Just what I needed, I've sent off a request and will see what the price comes back at.
