There have been a few engines for sale on trade me for some time, just keep looking something will turn up. Make sure you have a good check over anything you buy, A few dollars spent in the right places could save lots of drama later. All the best.

Thats a great idea, good tip for those redoing dash, or doing restoration. Pity I didn't think of it. Not worth all the effort to pull dash again though.

My 77 Fairlady 2+2 also has electric windows, I to have been told that it is an L. When I bought it I'm sure it had a E badge on the tailgate which I think stood for injection. Any one know?
