Hahaha I remember this now. Sorry i shouldn't laugh. But i'm afraid your listing of the cock ups is not quite correct. The first and biggest cock up was getting David Taylor to build your Z motor ! if my memory serves me correctly it had about 3.5.1 compression ratio. Oh ok i exaggerate, but if my s...

Hi Steve Firstly you are extremely unlikely to find anything online about RR3 or RR5 cam shafts. These were designations given to cams i believe were originally ground for Reg Cook Racing they were knock offs of Nissan Motorsport cams. Most of these would of been ground by Paine engine reconditioner...

Ok. Im a sad individual. I have checked all the cam profiles that we have graphed over the years and whilst i have never used this one i have seen and graphed one. It looks identical to Schneider 270-80F Cam. Usable rev range of 2500-6600. Should give good idle quality on triples and very good mid r...

Hi I had a set of Arrow wheels in that exact size and style and a very similar colour made for me in the mid 90s obviously by Arrow Wheels themselves. Put politely they were ummm not fit for purpose. The rim halves were extremely soft and were forever bending. The casting of the centers was best des...

Also i have just looked in my garage. I dont know what thickness head gasket you need but there is a 90.5mm Bore 1.5mm Thick LS Head Gasket here which you can take. Just let me know what it is worth. May save you the freight. I also have loads of standard used head bolts ( a lot like new ) and 5 new...

If you are running a turbo or a high compression NA i would recommend a laminated steel head gasket and ARB head studs. They factory bolts even the Turbo ones are junk with myself often having to use 2 sets or more to get a head down to spec. The bonus with the stud set is that they can be reused. D...

As Mike said above, it is a matter of seat time. There is always something to be learnt from someone else. I am the same, its fair to say ive been doing this a fair while but if i get the opportunity to hop in a car with someone more experienced i jump at the chance. Good driver training is the best...
