Went through this last February in a lowered WRX Wagon. Couple of the fords were a bit interesting but managed it fine. My Z is standard height and I would have no problems taking that through. It is only open for a few months a year but absolutely worth it if you can.

How much does this cost? Been round taupo a lot but mostly on a bike!

I figure my z is parked in the garage most of the time so by owning it and trying (vainly) to preserve it I am stopping someone using it as a daily driver and therefore it is producing less smog than someone using a prius on a daily basis.
