sorry about that lol - yeah urethane was what they were made from – ok good stuff you can do it yourself….no, they are a workshop but do supply parts as required I guess – yeah give them a bell – might be quicker than emailing them

hey - couldn't send a PM for some reason - but yes they supplied them - they were like real hard composite material - like a very hard plastic

the keys are transponder keys...you need to go a locksmith that can copy the info from your original key to the second key

yeah i hope its all good now...yes the car took a while beofre it would tunrver & it stalled a couple of times and just wasnt feeling right

all fixed - was the crank sensor which has now been replaced

well got her back from the auto sparky and he tells me its definitely the motor that needs replacing...the $550 price is mates rates from Nissan so will have to check out e-bay Australia I thinks...thanks for your help it is very much appreciated.

thanks guys - its at the auto sparkys today for some other work as well as the window...can get brand new for $550 inc GST or one on Ebay for $157USD...yeah whats with it being the passneger window that is hardly ever used??

He did say change the battery…but it is at least three years old (as long as I have owned the car) so will change & reset the ECU & see what happens….i oiled the filter, and left it to dry…plus that was three months ago – would it take this long for the problem to arise?

Hi Zilver, thanks for the reply I rang Nissan Takapuna & spoke to one of the guys that does Diagnosis, his first suggestion was to change the battery & see what happens…if the lights stay on i will have to go & see what the car throws up as a code…and yes I do have a oiled type pod filte...

Engine Check Light - Any Advice

so on my way to work this morning & the engine check light comes on, the TCS OFF & SLIP all light up….get to work turn her off….delay in getting her to turn over again but she does start buit not as smooth as it should…any advice

were the oil leaks towards the rear of the car near the diff? if so i have just had the same problem - it is the bushes in the rear sub-frame - go to Autolign in Carbine Road & ask for Ian - he will sort you out....the bushes are now oil filled compared to the old poly bushes
