Hi all, I had hoped to have my Z back on the road for this event, but a few problems have arisen with my motor rebuild that has pushed out the commission date too close, if not past this weekend. No fear though, I'm still in for the weekend, but I'll be in me Toyota instead. Cheaper on the gas to b...

Hi all, cheers Mike for organizing this run. Just about had some cooling issues again, but a new radiator cap seemed to most of my problem prior to running over the Rimutaka's. As it turned out, most of us were captains on board with no sailors to navigate, so the intended plan for the day then fle...

Hi all, awesome, awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have never been here, then make sure you clear your calendar for it and chalk it up on your bucket list. It's definitely a visit not to be missed. Went last time and had a ball of a time ducking, diving and scrambling around their labyrinth of sheds, not...

Hi everyone, just a bump to say I'm still on for this Sunday's event. I think I have my cooling issues sorted, but this will be a true test for the girl since getting it back on the road. I'll carry some extra water with me just in case though, lol. As Z's and optimism usually don't work well toget...

Hi all,

the guy to that link, is a rip off merchant. I know, because he was one of the first places I started buying Z parts for my rebuild, then discovered his profit margine, compared to what I could get on Ebay.

I wouldn't bother throwing money at him, period.

Wairarapa Old School Cars Group - Lake Ferry Car Cruise.

Hi everyone, I have recently co-formed a pre 1985' car group, where we organize events and car runs for any owners of an old school car, whatever it's make, model or type(muscle, hotrod, production and or vintage.) We have a planned car cruise for Sunday the 10th of January starting from the Gladst...

Hi there Mike,

looking in the modifying your Nissan/Datsun OHC engine manual, the standard measurement is 4.218 inches. The distance between top and bottom surfaces. Most probably easier to convert to millimetres, to measure up.

Hey there, the only advise I would give, if uncertain of compliance of certain parts, is to go see someone who vin's vehicles and ask their opinion as to what parts would straight away comply and what extra documentation would be required if parts were assembled up from different components. As any...

Hi there, one of the little niggley problems I find, is having to use a secondary web site like photobucket in which to be able to post up photos. It, for convenience, would be great to post photo's direct and I'm sure most others would agree, for the less technically minded computer web surfers in...

Hi there Graeme,

just had a check of the speedo. It only goes up to 180km/hr.

Hadn't noticed that before with my 2 seater 260z, (240km/hr), haha, something which you stare at the most goes un noticed, lol.

Learning something new on Z's every day.

Hi there Graeme, you lost me there???, big speedo. Never knew there was a difference in them as well. The clock I have is listed in the link blurb as a single turn adjuster type 2. Its the one pictured with the green coloured 3, 9, 12 numbers and the calender window, but strangely enough, my number...

Hi there, any good engineering shop should have a wide and varied range of o-rings in stock. 0-rings ain't made of special rubber, but if you buy from a dealer, then you are paying their over all stock level price, because it may sit on their shelves for quite awhile. Take in a sample so an enginee...

Time for a Z clock lesson.

Hi all, well the other day, I was trying to find info on the clock that I have in my Fairlady 260z 2+2. As it sports @ 3 O'clock a window for a monthly calender. I had never seen this in any other S30's, so got to putting up the question on one of my FB Z pages. Someone then came back with the foll...
