Re: New to the Z club
Have you picked up the 350Z yet?
I have used Christchurch Nissan since 2010 and have had no issues.

Re: 350Z Detail, Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating
Looks fantastic Chris! What was the cost?
I have considered this but would need to get the front bar repainted to remove all the stone chips first.
Just ticked over 100,000 this week!

Re: Radiator cooling fans
A few years ago my aircon wasn’t working well so took the car to a specialist to diagnose the problem. Can’t recall the detail but I think it was the fans going flat out all the time. He said the entire fan assembly should be replaced but suggested I ask on this forum if a good deal could be had on ...

Re: Headlight hazing
Took my headlights out and have had them professionally stripped and recoated. They were looking very hazy and detracting from the look of the car. Refitted them today and they look fantastic. $150 well spent. Still some slight crazing on the inside but not bad for 14 year old units. Quite fiddly g...

Re: New battery for 350z
Replaced my last battery in April 2016, and have struggled through this last winter with the replacement. Thought it should have lasted longer than that, but it may have something to do with it having only 450CCA rating. Found out today that my battery connections fit only the small diameter posts, ...

Re: 100 Octane
Thanks Andy
I’ll probably stick with BP Ultimate 98 as a new BP service station has opened up 100 metres from work saving me driving a few km out of my way to BP Hoon Hay. Also have a BP fuel card so get a discount.

100 Octane
An NPD station opened just down the road from work and I see that they sell 100 octane.
Is there any benefit in upgrading from BP Ultimate I use at the moment?
