Re: Auto Transmission fluid change

My 350z is manual but my wife has a 2007 350GT with the HR engine and 5 speed auto transmission. Owned it since 2011. I change the transmission fluid in it myself now and after research chose the Penrite ATF FS which you mentioned. Did it back in 2019 and no ill effects that I can tell. I took it in...

Re: For financial members only - 400z global online launch

This is bad. I'm starting to really like it though realistically have no use for 400bhp of ICE or a clutch.

My 350z (VQ35HR) is still going really well.

Re: New battery for 350z

I bought mine NZ new at the beginning of 2009 (so it was a run out - pictures of the new 370z were all over the web but not yet in NZ). I'm not sure if the posts are small or large (think they are probably small) but anyway the diameter is about 16-17 mm (which might actually be an imperial thing 5 ...

I am fairly sure that if you compare the reflectors closely they are a different shape and not interchangeable.

So the helmet thing. How old is too old.

Is made Sept 2009 too old for a club track day using an uncaged road car?

You'll definately need to try those items in the car before you buy. The amp may fit in the boot rear of the brace but maybe not. It should fit on the passenger seat. The hard case may fit in the boot infront of the brace but it wont be convenient and may rub against things getting it there. It shou...

Re: Directional Tires

Ever wondered what difference directional tires make to the handling and road holding of your car ? Well in my case today, with Dot rated Hankook race tires, it would appear absolutely F all !! In fact it could be said they went better !! I have won 3 from 3 races today with a whole string of some ...

Its become part of the cylinder head. One of the most significant features in the all-new 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine is the adoption of a new integrated exhaust manifold, built into the cylinder head, enabling engineers to position the catalytic converter closer to the exhaust point. This result...

You do hear a lot of road noise travelling in a 350z, particularly from the rear wheels.
It's quite dependent on road surface (i.e. changes as you go from one road surface type to another) and also the tires fitted.
