Should be a decent fast road cam, Auckland cams description is pretty spot on.

I see they didn't give you any clearances. You might want to take the cam back and ask for them, it is important to set them correctly to get the motor running sweetly.

40mm will be fine and likely to be more suitable for a mild street car than 45's. You won't want to rev it too hard anyway, so if power tapers off after 6000 its not a big deal. Keen to see cam specs. Sounds like .290" lobe lift and 287 advertised duration. If you can get duration at 0.050"...

Yes i know the other car is a S31. This is S30 with no prefix or suffix. Hence being 2litre JDM. Just thought they would change the code with the newer style body.

Yeah i figure its the later 260z body seeming the dash/tailights are all facelift.
Body code is simply s30.

Sorry guys, ended up being a L20e powered JDM Fairlady Z so I let it go - was only really after the motor so didn't think it was worth the $250. Car was pretty poked and only running gear was usable (diff/axles/struts were gone too)

When did FairladyZ move over to the facelifted tailights? I ask because this car is s30 so not sure if its the heavier/stronger body or not.
