I'll give it a go - the Zed's not quite up to speed yet but I can join you at Featherston and see how we go from there.

Thanks all, no writeup for this one sorry.... :-) We had a great day with an intimate group of 250 friends - the weather held off nicely. As for the wheels, the ones on the car hitherto were my daughters. She had decided that the superlites would look better on her car while mine was being worked on...

Kate & I got married last Saturday. No prizes for guessing what the car of honour was... http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p232/rosspv/Wedding/IMG_2428.jpg leaving the church at Wairongomai http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p232/rosspv/Wedding/IMG_2432.jpg http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p2...

Mike will be getting copy (of sorts) from me before the end of the week relating to the last Wairarapa cruise. I must apologise effusively for not making last print's deadline. My defences are: 1. I didn't know the deadline was so soon 2. If there was a deadline it wasn't valid 3. If it was valid, i...

Wonderful outing thanks Mike, well researched and organised, painlessly put together and flexibly modified! We had a ball and it was lovely to meet peole we hadn't met before. If Brian & Sheryl are typical of all Aucklanders, then we'd be tempted to go up there more often! Seriously though, love...

Hey Mike, Kate and I will be loitering in our Zed somewhere between Cornucopia Cafe and the Fell Museum in Featherston. Do you have a rough ETA? Nigel, you'd be welcome to come up our way and have a coffee with us while you wait. If you have L-series withdrawal, you're welcome to join the cruise dri...

Obtainable in chemists I believe - he's really full of s*** http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p232/rosspv/Stigsayspickme.jpg soap, that is. I have one on my office desk - it makes statements about you (none of them good) but garners some sort of backhanded respect. And it will be an easily transpor...

Morgan, I wouldn't be suprised if it was JDM. That Aircon unit is Soooo 70s factory option and the sugarscoop cover and the wing mirror blanking plates and the non-NZ colour keying... Could be a rare 'un?

That's amazing analysis! Thanks guys! Nigel, I'm leaning to your dirty/wet fuel theory. The pumping mechanism is standard as far I know (electric at tank and mechanical up front?). The mechanical pump was replaced in ChCh by my coachbuilder (who took it for a huge wrack on the Canty plains to get it...

Power loss problems

My L28 powered 260Z (see http://www.zclub.org.nz/viewtopic.php?t=922&test=test ) isn't long out of the rust spa. It hasn't been used a lot in the last 18 months and gets a run about once a month at the moment. It has three 40mm Weber DCOEs and they seem set up very nicely - good torque low down ...

Loved the South Island photos! Can't promise quite that much snow in the Wairarapa, but will try to make up for it with great coffee, food and ambience! I've checked with the local health board regarding the recent media-panic reports of "Swine Flu". You expressed some concern about this. ...
