Well, so far NZTA, Nissan New Zealand and Nissan Japan turned out to be completely useless. None of them have any information regarding the chassis number in firewall. Does anyone know if there's some company or person in New Zealand who would still have a list of imported Zeds? I can't believe that...

Well, the LTSA could not find any details for a vehicle with chassis number RS30-020009 or just 020009. Now I'm waiting response from Nissan NZ, hopefully they have some details for the vehicle. I have to find some sort of history or explanation for that 020009, without it there's no way of register...

There's hope after all.
Local version of LTSA said that they can register the car if I can prove that the car which chassis number I have stamped on my firewall (020009) is not stolen.

Hopefully I can get some reply from LTSA soon.

Well, I emailed to LTSA asking them to find out the history for RS30-020009.
Still can't believe how sloppy I was for not checking the numbers
If I can't get it registered I will part it out which is a shame for a car in such a good shape.

Could someone confirm that 2+2 has GRS30 stamped on firewall, not just S30?

HELP; Major problem in registering 260Z

So, we moved overseas from NZ in last July and now I was about to register my 260Z 2+2 which I took with us. What a surprise it was to find out that chassis number in certificate of registration does not match with the chassis number stamped on chassis firewall. Stupid of me to own the car for 3 yea...

Automatic and replacing some bearings and friction plates + seals etc. was around $2500. It's was rebuild b...

Vibrations after transmission rebuild

I got my 260Z back from local transmission specialist after 5 days and complete overhaul. Huge difference compared how the transmission used to work, smooth gear changes and no clunking or any weird noises, except one not so small issue. Now there's nasty vibration which gets worse when you go over ...

Yes, owning a car is getting a bit too expensive.
We have 3 cars and 2 motorbikes and regos for all of them costs over $1300 per year :(

I think that rego on one of the bikes will go on exemption as it's not used at all.

Ahh.. I can't make it after all.
I just found out a crack in headers, it now has a temporary fix with some exhaust repair stuff but it will not last
on track day so I have to pass the event.

There was few 240Z from Finland and Norway and they ended up doing pretty well. Results Results for all the Zeds and some pictures Pics taken by Finnish team On 1972 Rau...
