Auto to Manual certification?

Excuse my ignorance - but do you need a cert for an auto to manual conversion using the standard Datsun components and if so how do you go about this?

Recently there was a fiberglass place advertising a front bar for the 240z on trademe.

Does anyone know who that was? - i believe it was a Hamilton company, and the listing isn't there anymore

unbelievable how much coverage this cat has receieved - i would suggest that the photo's taken in this article were on the 'kinder' side - compared to some of the pictures in other articles i have seen

Managed to get all the parts, but haven't done the conversion yet. Only problem i can see (and its not a big one) is the clutch master cylinder outlet pipe is going to interfere with the accellertor linkage on my 260, but should be able to work around that There is an excellant article on this gearb...

Technical question for the guru's out there. Have been looking at upgrading my suspension on a stock standard '78 260z (2+2) On the US ebay, they have TOKICO upgrade kits for either early (70 - 74) or late 260z's (74 - 78). Research tells me that i need the 70 - 74 kit - as the US 260z model changed...
