Took it to Gt Auto Electrics on the North Shore. Good shop that understands old school cars. Fiddled with the switch and put in a new flasher unit as well. Works but still a bit flakey..........

Hi team my 71 240z indicator switch has cried enough. I have traversed the net for rebuild tips and pulled the switch apart to clean the contacts and had it working briefly but it is super flakey and now doesn’t work. In mid resto on the the 240z and the panel beater says my drivers door is pretty ugly and I would be better off getting another one. Anyone sitting on a cache of doors that are surplus to requirements........Thanks!
