Thanks Bernie,
That was my suspicion, it makes more sense, I just remember with local assembly plants, I think they undersealed everything at the end, but I may be wrong, did anyone out there ever work for any of the assembly plant in the day?

underseal
thanks Bernie, I plan to prime the under side with the factory primer colour, which appears to be a pale yellow, then underseal, but was wondering what the factory sequence was. On one hand, if you underseal first, which I think is the most preferable, then you need to mask or scrap of areas where t...

factory build sequence
I am nearing completion of my 260Z body prep before I start the rebuild etc. I want to do the rebuild as close to factory as possible, but what I can't seem to find out, is at what point did they apply the underseal. Was it as a bare body, then they installed the hoses and lines, or did they wait un...

240z body panels
Hi
I have purchased a 260Z 2+2 RHD, without an interior, but I prefer an S30 2 seater body. So the plan is to purchase an S30 ex USA and turn my 2+2 into an S30. Have since goolgled and found that S30 up to 280z panels are interchangeable with the 260z

importing from the states
Hi There
Can anyone tell me how to go about importing a Z out of the states with no title and only a bill of sale.
My intention is only a parts car, with no intention of putting it on the road

240z to 280z body panels
Hi Guys,
I would like to know if the 260z and 280z two seater body panels are interchangable with the original 240z panels
That is I plan to change a 260z 2+2 body into a two seater body, and 260z to 280z cars are much cheaper out of the states

240/260z dashboard
Yes Thanks guys,
I am of two thoughts on this, in some ways, if I can get a series one, low VIN, out of the States, then it would retain its value if I leave it LHD, There are a lot of basket cases on the net. What I love about these cars, is there is not much to them, as far as the body goes

trying to find my old z
Hi Guys, I have just joined the club and currently looking for a backet case early 240z. I owned a white series 2(I think) here in wellington back in the late 70s the rego was a distinctive JZ 240 old black plate, I sold it to a young guy in Plimmerton. Does any one know if it has survived, I would ...
