not past the point. It is past the financial point mind you. I am going to keep the Z, but it will become a dedicated competition car stripped interior, and hopefully a fair amount of power. In all honesty - I haven't had a look into transplanting the VQ into the silvia, or skyline, mainly due to th...

Unfortunately this is about the only outcome I have come to that will keep me financially above board. I am keeping an eye out for a s13, s14, r32, or r33 that will be running a RB25det that shoul...

I am the mother of posting big photo's. You are welcome ;D So because my wallet has a lot of healing to do, okay hell of a lot of healing to do.. I have decided to tackle the motor as I can, without spending too much money. Enter, porting and polishing. As this is going to be a turbo'd motor, and my...

Yeah - thankfully the Z is a lot easier to work on than some of my previous cars! Okay - so I finally got some real work put into the car, and managed to find one, of the many culprits for the hilarious drivers side alignment That is the lower rear spring bucket, cracked. It is hugely deformed and i...

There is some really good news, and some not quite so good news. Good news, I ran my new personal best laptime at pukekohe of 1.17.0 That is not too bad for a factory motor IMO! I was aiming for a 1.19 managed to get it quite early in the day too! So, now onto the not so great news. I did end up hi...

I deserve the dumbest of dumb awards.

No wonder my radio hasn't been working.

Reading off the wrong bloody wiring diagram!

Radio in tonight, brakes bled tonight, oil and anti freeze changed tonight. Primo.

I still fail at posting photo's I'm not even mad. Anyway, as I am now planning on a simple twin turbo setup on the existing motor, I figured I should at least get the ground work started! So, I have purchased some sway bars, end links, and SS brake lines, just to kind of help the handling of the car...

Very very long shot - I need a motor! VQ37

Hey all - Now this is NOT a matter of urgency,

I am just letting you all know, that if you see/hear of any VQ37's for sale, or wrecked etc, please let me know..

I am chasing one for a build =]

Thanks!

If it's slow revving I'd look for a lightweight flywheel..

Mine has no worries revving happy..

Could always be worth a swing by and we can see what's going on?
