Shipping from USA - Help

Hi guys, long time since I’ve posted but I remember one of the members here would bring containers from the US from time to time and I’m wondering if he’s still around? Any help is appreciated :D

Yes my guess is you'd pass WOF. Though be careful which test pipes you install because 90% of them will make a dual exhaust like the HKS super raspy (tinny sounding). For best results i'd suggest either Motordyne ART pipes or a set of high flow cats (HFC). Best of luck.

For the exact parts you listed plus install and certification

Swift Springs $315 USD

VooDoo13 rear camber arms $175 USD

Toe bolts $30 USD

Plus approx $200 USD shipping would land it at your door in under a week. Also $400ish for cert

Easiest option is just springs and don't worry about the rest.

A set of lowering springs on their own should be perfectly fine. An alignment shop should be able to get your alignment pretty good without the need for camber arms. Camber arms also require cert which can be a headache and rather costly (as I've found out myself). Different brands of springs will g...

I'm planning on going down this route as well. Interested to know how high you sit compared to the OEM seat? Did you end up using NZKW seat bracket? With/without the slider? Thanks Yes I used a NZKW base mount although I had to drill new holes in it to fit my Racetech side bracket. I'm not using sl...

+1 an intake is in no way whatsoever an intercooler. An intercooler is only necessary with FI the best 'cold air' intake available is the stock air box as it's sealed off from the engine bay, the facelift models have a velocity stack too which improves flow. Next best for 'cold air' is a long tube i...

Unfortunatly the 350Z Nismo was only EVER released to the US market. Unless of course the Z33 Nismo 380RS which was released to Japan but they're rare as hen's teeth. Some earlier 350Z's were released with minor Nismo upgrades but nothing really worth holding out for. Here the best performance you'l...

It was at Don Hoffs shop but was Ian Smith who did it. I really should have gone straight back but I live and work rurally 7am-6pm which leaves little time for this sort of thing. Was a big enough headache having it taken in in the first place, let alone paying all that money for him to leave the mo...

I went through all that hassle in November last year. Asked for my adjustable suspension, adjustable camber and toe arms and wheels to be certified. He called me and said it'd passed on everything and congratulated me for being like the 5th car of the year to pass first go. I picked it up and took i...

I'd find it hard to look past a 335i Beemer if I wanted a daily with some big power. From what I've read those 3.0 straight 6 turbos are extremely solid and de-tuned to hell from factory. A lot of dudes in the US are pushing 600hp with pretty basic setups. Only problem is they're a BMW haha.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. It isn't a great platform for big power and super expensive for a little power lol. I could put 5k in to my DE and it'll still dyno at less than your HR haha. Your bonus is that with the right bolt on mods (long tube headers, full exhaust and Admin Tuning intakes +...

i'm confused when you buy a 350/370z surely you look at its lack of turbo and have one of 2 plans: 1 - keep the power level relatively standard and be happy with what its got, knowing that small mods wont have the power increases of a turbo car 2 - be willing to spend $10-20k+ on go fast bits Yeah ...

VQ30 and VK swaps have both been done in the US and both proven to be too costly. LS swap is relitively easy due to the availability of swap kits. Also the huge availability for LS parts makes them the easiest application for huge power. RB26DETT has also been done but everyone to try has over 15k U...

As stated above there's not much extra power to be had. It's recommended to do supporting modifications before a tune. I've done the basics being Intake and complete exhaust including cat delete (reputable parts each with promising dyno results). I'm heading to Rapid Performance Timaru who I believe...
