Update 13/03/2022

Hi Everyone, Small but major update on the car. https://youtu.be/W3UiaZ7geMk It runs for the first time in however long (about 8 or 9 years). A bit smokey and running far too fat but i'll try to lean it out a bit and let it idle on the driveway in the near future. Turns out im not terrible at wiring...

Re: Certification of T3 brake kit?

I will be interested in the outcome of this as the Micro brake kit with the handbrake function may solve some of my headaches too

Update 27/09/21

Hello Everyone, The car has been with me for about two months now and I've been ticking away at the build. The little parts cave that was my office is now dwindling with only one or two more cardboard boxes of bits to go into the car. My main focus has been on re-wiring the car from scratch and inst...

Welp time for another update in my "6 month" build (Its been 7 years but who's counting) For the first time in probably a good 4 years the car is in the same city as me and I have my own garage to work on it! I've made more progress in the last 3 months than I have in the last 5 years :lol...

Re: Certifier needed

I havent had Paul do a certification yet but he seemed to be willing to chat and discuss things over the phone and email with me. (Which is more than some of the guys I did call to enquire)

I'm also interested in finding a good cert guy as mine will need a new cert

Photo Test 26/03/21

Lets give this new photo site a try. Here's a pic post DKM Fabrication completing their work. I have unfortunately had a sump bolt snap on me so the engine is going to need to be removed soon so I can hopefully get that fixed. https://imgur.com/gallery/qGSN81F https://imgur.com/gallery/qGSN81F Edit:...

240z washer nozzle placement

Hey Guys,

Bit of a weird question but can anyone please tell me or take photos of where the nozzles poke through the cowl.

Even if it's the driver's side is the 3rd hole on the cowl etc mine are removed and all the holes plugged.

Thanks in advance

Hello everyone, Pretty much 3 years since my last update and again I've made the excellent decision for progress of not being in the same city as the car; so to be honest not a heck of a lot has been done to the car. The parts stash has been steadily growing, but so does my imagination for 'might as...

Re: 240z ANDO WERKS

Good looking car.

A Nissan skyline brake booster also works to give clearance for the clutch master, just need to re drill the holes for mounting.

Looking forward to your build and watching the videos

Re: Swapping rear lights and back panel

Hello, May be able to offer some help. 240z lights will not directly bolt up, you will need to cut, drill and weld up some holes. Dash will bolt up however you will need to swap the heater and all the misc bits attached to it including the console if you wanted to use a 240z dash. There are also the...

Re: Looking for S30 71-73 RHD

Hey Vownz, Good luck with your search. By runs do you mean WOF and Rego or just engine running? What are you prepared to fix for instance rust, interior, paint, electrical etc? There have been a few shells/ projects over the last few years go for between 10-20k depending on condition etc, most of th...

Re: New and looking to buy a 240z 1972-1972

Hiya,

Without being rude you probably dont have the budget for a running car at 25k even if its modified (Assuming you are after a rhd 240z).

You may get a 260z for close to that price but unlikely.

But good luck with your search

Cheers
