Clutch Recommendation

Hi all, I have a noisy thrust bearing so thought that if I have to replace that I might do the clutch as well. The one I have in the car is OK but it's a bit all-or-nothing. It's difficult to feather out making the car a bit of a pain at times - especially around town. Can anyone recommend a good re...

Yes, mine are the same shape but nearly as tidy looking. The ZX did have some pretty ugly seat types but these are the best... in my opinion anyway.

Bump.
Well not much luck with this. Have hunted high and low for some replacements but can't find anything that looks like it should fit. Certainly haven't found anything that looks like a direct replacement. Looks like it's off to Nissan for the real thing unless anyone can offer an alternative.

CV Boots

Good afternoon all, I took the ZX in for a warrant last week and when they put it up on the lift they discovered that one of the CV boots on the rear axle had split. Is there a local source for these, or generic alternatives, or will I have to resort to eBay? Any help,or direction would be greatly a...

It couldn't possibly of course but it looks exactly like the one I owned in the 70's. Same colour, same wheels. Nice.

Glad you mentioned them, I sent them a message earlier today to see if they had, or could get, one.

Just drove home in the dark so I'd have to say that they are about what you'd expect from a 35 year old car. They're OK, but hardly brilliant - if you'll excuse the awful pun.

I agree, in retrospect it was the thing I should have done first but you know how it is, somehow you get fixated with the one view - the wrong one in this case. And yes, if I'd had taken it to an auto electrician it would have cost a lot more, and been very embarrassing to boot. I will take your adv...

How to fix a headlight.. or perhaps not

Just thought for the sake of wider education I thought I'd share an experience. Some months ago, after a small wiring job, I blew a headlight. I might have shorted it out after forgetting to disconnect the battery at one point - but lets not dwell on that particular idiocy. The headlight didn't work...

Yes they do, I checked their catalogue and they're definitely there.
