So just confirmed my chassis # on my 71 by sanding the paint off above the brake booster area. Never took much attention to it since it had been covered when it was re sprayed in 92. Chassis # HS30-01231 so safe to say I'm pretty happy with that find

This is interesting. My 71 said to be first registered in nz in 1971 Dec #1234 is what it says on my car report, has the two throttles in the middle ( choke an throttle ) but does not have the early 240z badge on the rear quarter panel and had a 5spd manual in it. So I am unsure of what to make of ...

You can get h4 free form 7" headlights from narva and fit some really good quality headlight bulbs in there and it will be like a modern car. And as for the headlight loom you can get a universal kit from narva also and that is the business. I supplied the parts for b101 and his z and I'm sure...

Need help. Wide flares for 240z

Now I have been looking in a lot of places and still can't seem to find a good quality wide flares to suit my fitment.

Bamfs sounded like the weapon of choice but I'm not sure if they are still being manufactured, sounds like they have stopped.

Any suggestions from anyone using wide flares??????

I would guess it does depend on the tyre brand and also the sidewalk hight, the lower the profile the more noticable the stretch. But like Baker has said the Toyo R888's fit his 10" wide tyres with no problem. I'm thinking o f using these on the fronts and Toyo Proxes TC 275/40/16 on the rear, ...
