Just found this, by the look of Facebook, you've attracted a whole bunch of randoms. I'm currently living out the Whangarei Heads with our Z, you'll be coming right past us so we may well be on the side of the road waiting for you.

Interesting. We have the same issue with our Mikunis - was looking into a heatshield myself. How much work was involved and did it require the removal of the carbs from the manifold to fit?

Thanks! It was really strange being on the other side of the equation for once, was nice to sit back and not be stressing about getting the right shots!

I've generally got the feeling that the council aren't too excited about having an event like Drift Shifters in the city, so it wouldn't surprise me that they didn't jazz it up.

I went and yep, it was pretty good, though I have to say I enjoyed the first one a little more due to the venue.

Look out for a feature of our car in the next NZPC magazine

I'm aware that the circumstances are a little strange, but Marcus Gibson, my replacement as editor at Performance Car magazine, asked to feature our Z, so we agreed and it was shot last Friday night at Trass Family Motorsport. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b294/baboonass/2P7A7738_zps39423eec.jpg...

The limit is 25mm is far as I'm aware, any size needs a cert and I'm fairly sure they need to be the bolt-on hub-centric type - slip ons can't be certified.

They are, it was basically a brand new road, three lanes wide and nearly completely deserted. I never thought I'd be finding the limits of an R35's grip off the race track, but definitely found the front pushing on those tighter hairpins!

Our hill climb adventure in the United Arab Emirates

Not strictly Z-related, but I thought you guys might be interested in what I would have to rate as the top road I have ever driven! Hi Pedey, Thanks for keeping the flag flying and commissioning interesting content for speedhunters. Really looking forward to seeing the stories you have flagged. Speedhunters is an addiction and I get fidgety when the content slows in the weekend.......you need to get some automatic tools to post...

Hi everyone, Hope all is well, I'm in Stockholm at the moment, have been here for a while now as I got a new job as the Editor in Chief at Speedhunters.com. It looks like this is where Taryn and I will be based in the future, as it's where the head office is. We are however hoping to avoid the worst...

We did make it to Nurburgring :D Spent a week there actually! Hope everyone is well back in New Zealand and enjoying that balmy winter weather. We've spent the last few months living all over the place, shooting feature cars and events, it's been interesting but I must say I desperately miss getting...

Pretty well versed in the OS Giken heads - the dream! Was more interested in the car itself, I love the old school twin turbo set up and thought I'd post it on here in case anyone had any more photos or info on the build
