Ah I see, I don't know very much about the RB engines, I had no idea they had low impedance injectors at one point. Good luck with the search for the injectors. I will keep my ears out for anything.

Hey, I am currently selling some RB20DET injectors. Someone swapped an RB20DET engine into a 280zx that I bought but I intend on restoring the car back to factory. I have almost sold everything but the injectors are still here. I have put new pintel caps and filter buckets on the injectors, they wil...

I removed the clock and put a mechanical boost gauge in there which I quite like. I have a temporary set up for my A/F ratio gauge too which I will put in where the volt gauge is. Would you consider doing the same?

Thanks for the reply guys. I often buy broken cars, fix them up and sell them on so I don't have to work at the bar so much while studying so I am not short of a working vehicle but nothing beats the 280zx as a daily driver. I will keep in touch with you guys and let you know what I find and for wha...

L-Series Headgasket and Bolts

Yesterday the uni car club hired Ruapuna raceway for the morning. While I was racing a blew my headgasket out to atmosphere and now my car sounds like a tractor when I drive. My turbo is running 6psi of boost at the moment so it wasn't an overboosting situation. I did however reuse my headbolts when...

There is a lot of too much this and too much that posted. I like this car because it is unique. I don't post in our spotted threads when I see a 350z because each and every one I have spotted looks the same as each other and there is no way for me to express how awesome that 350z was. I say go for i...

I agree with bernjean, I took the time to make a complete wiring loom and my L20ET engine is running from a megasquirt ECU. Best upgrade I have made with this car. I have used the existing coolant sensor and the distributor and put an air intake temp sensor in the manifold. Also all the safety featu...

I was just out doing a test run around the block after fitting an o2 sensor to the exhaust and I spotted all the way down Ilam road a black 280zx with a silver bonnet. I went to park up and check it out but a young lady came by and jumped in. Thought it might have been DJZ but apparently not. Super ...

Ouch.. my feelings. I really hope it is brought back in the same condition that it left. I have an alarm/immobiliser and gps tracker on my 280zx so the return of the car would happen pretty quick in the event of it being stolen.

I quite like it, very unique and a bit of a modern twist to an older car but ties in the lines well. When I made my front bumper out of fiberglass I took a lot of time to measure over and over a good height from the ground and distance from the front wheels to minimise any kind of scraping on curbs ...

LEngine Application for L Series Engine Building

Hi All, If anyone happens to be doing any kind of research or calculating of rebuilding a L series engine with different components (e.g an N42 head on a L20 block) I have come across an application that is like an L series database. I have seen a couple online engine builder websites and applicatio...
